Job summary

Signature Aviation in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks an Airside Experience Specialist. You will deliver a seamless, hospitality-driven experience while performing ground services and operating equipment around active aircraft.

The role demands nights, weekends, and variable weather, with a service-first mindset and a commitment to safety. You will collaborate with guests, crew, and vendors, manage fueling and de-icing tasks, and ensure secure, efficient ramp operations while maintaining a welcoming

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must pass company background checks and airport background checks; maintain airport security badge.
• Legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Valid state driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Join a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently per SOPs and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with guests, clients, vendors, and crewmembers to meet service needs, including fueling, de-icing, lavatories, ground power, water, parking, and towing.
• Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft; identify tasks and raise safety concerns to stakeholders.
• Operate and drive ground service equipment (fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, GSE, tugs, stair trucks).
• Load/unload luggage and cargo to/from aircraft or guest vehicles and facilities.
• Provide professional, friendly guest service with a positive attitude at all times.
• Offer safe transportation when driving shuttle vehicles for guests and luggage.
• Maintain safe, clean ramps and operations; manage fuel handling and documentation.
• Follow safety, security, and guest service requirements; stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Follow emergency procedures and security protocols dictated by Signature Aviation and airports.
• Record time worked and activities accurately.
