Pollo Tropical is seeking energetic Team Members to assist with customer service, food preparation and dining area maintenance in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, cooking, stocking, handling payments, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean, welcoming restaurant.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet and assist customers promptly.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Adjust to changing assignments and maintain composure under pressure.
• Must be able to speak English in customer contact roles.
• Familiarity with POS cash registers and kitchen screens is a plus.
• Willingness to learn recipes and daily kitchen workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers.
• Place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems.
• Relay orders from service counter to kitchen operations.
• Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment with proper safety.
• Stock kitchen and service areas with needed items.
• Fill food and beverage orders as part of the kitchen/service duo.
• Receive payments and give back change using the cash register.
• Unload deliveries of supplies to the restaurant.
• Clean interior and exterior of the restaurant including floors, tables, counters and equipment.
• Observe alcoholic beverage laws where applicable.
• Maintain safe public access and assist with ongoing duties as assigned.
