Job summary

Pollo Tropical in Florida is hiring team members to deliver friendly service and food to guests while keeping a clean, welcoming dining area.

You will greet customers, take orders, relay them to the kitchen, cook and prepare food with proper safety practices, stock supplies, and handle payments at the register.

You must be at least 16, be able to multitask, communicate well, and work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Good communication with customers and coworkers.
• Willingness to learn POS system and kitchen screens.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers.
• Take and relay customer orders.
• Relay orders from service counter to kitchen.
• Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment and proper safety procedures.
• Stock kitchen and service materials.
• Fill orders and process payments at the register.
• Unload deliveries to restaurant.
• Clean interior and exterior of the restaurant.
• Observe alcoholic beverage laws when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
