Job summary

Biltmore Estate is seeking a Valet Attendant to greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and maintain the front entrance areas of the Inn on Biltmore Estate. The role emphasizes exceptional guest service and safe vehicle operation, with standard English communication and a strong team mindset.

Full-time position, 32+ hours per week, with shifts typically 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm and weekend/holiday availability required. Background checks may be conducted as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver world class guest service.
• Must operate both automatic and standard transmissions.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems in a guest-facing setting.
• Good judgment and initiative.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clear written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and follow training and service standards.
• Assist with parking and retrieving guest vehicles.
• Maintain front entrance areas of the inn.
• Maintain valet parking areas and pathways.
• Keep windshields clean and clear in vehicles.
• Safely operate guest vehicles as required.
• Ensure guests feel enchanted during arrival and departure.
• Provide assistance to guests whenever possible.
• Perform security checks of vehicles as needed.
