Job summary

The Biltmore Company seeks an Inn Front Desk Agent for the Biltmore Estate. This part-time role emphasizes warm, world-class guest service, guest check-in/check-out, and concierge support across Front Office operations.

Responsibilities include handling arrivals, providing information on estate amenities, and supporting group pre-arrivals with a focus on courteous, efficient service. Strong communication and hospitality experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of guest service or hospitality experience in an upscale setting.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills; English fluency required; other languages helpful.
• Ability to learn reservations, ticketing, and property systems; proficient with Outlook/Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily check-ins and check-outs in a gracious, timely manner.
• Provide concierge services and information for estate guests.
• Conduct pre-registering and pre-keying for groups; support shift close-out and reporting.
• Address guest service recovery issues and work toward resolution.
• Upsell lodging and estate products and services where appropriate.
• Maintain registration materials and manage messages/faxes.
• Support front office leadership and other departments as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
• Represent Biltmore professionally at all times.
