Job summary

The Biltmore Company seeks a Valet Attendant for Inn on Biltmore Estate. You will greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and keep entrances tidy while maintaining the enchantment of arrival and departure experiences.

Varied shifts from 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, including weekends and holidays. Prior guest service in hotels/resorts or valet is preferred; requires driving skills, English proficiency, and a courteous, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience preferred in hotel/resort or valet roles.
• Demonstrated commitment to world-class guest service.
• Able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

## Valet Attendant - Full TimeApply: Biltmore Estate: Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR103549**Job Description**The Valet Attendant will provide exceptional guest service for guests visiting Biltmore by greeting, parking, and retrieving vehicles in accordance with Inn on Biltmore Estate standards. Valets will also offer general assistance and support to the department, leadership, and company. Full Time: a position working 32+ hours per week. **Schedule can vary, but is generally 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, Must have weekend and Holiday availability** **Essential Job Duties:**1. Greet guests arriving at the Inn on Biltmore Estate in accordance with training and service standards. 2. Assist with parking and retrieving guest vehicles. 3. Maintain the front entrance areas of the inn. 4. Maintain the valet parking areas and the pathways to/from. 5. Keep guest vehicles windshields clear of dirt/grime/ice. 6. Safely operate guest vehicles as essential job duty. 7. Ensure that guests maintain feeling of enchantment during arrival/departure process. 8. To help serve and assist guests whenever possible. 9. Security checks of vehicles under valet care as needed.**Qualifications:**1. Prior guest service experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have worked in a hotel/resort setting before and/or had previous experience as a valet. 2. Demonstrated commitment to delivering world class guest service. 3. Applicants must a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age or older; driving record must be clean and points-free for at least the past two years.**Physical Requirements:** 1. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds or more on a regular basis. 2. Be able to park and retrieve vehicles from valet parking in a timely manner. 3. Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles. 4. Have full manual dexterity and be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time. 5. Ability to work outside in all types of weather with fluctuations in temperatures and conditions.
