Job summary

Target is seeking a Service & Engagement Team Leader in Palm Desert, CA to coach and develop a team of front-line associates. You will drive guest experience, ensure smooth daily operations, and support store leadership in meeting sales and service standards.

The role emphasizes leading by example, maintaining safety and compliance, and delivering a welcoming, efficient guest journey across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Capable of lifting up to 44 pounds and staying active on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Lead a team of hourly team members, including coaching and evaluation.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and achieve sales goals.
• Address guest and team issues promptly and provide guidance as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain store security practices.
