Job summary

Target is seeking a Service & Engagement Team Leader to foster guest service excellence across store operations. You will lead a team of Guest Advocates and Front of Store Attendants, ensuring high standards of guest interactions, issue resolution, and daily workflow management.

You will coach and develop team members, manage daily workload, and align with store goals while adapting to a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to operate scanners and basic tech.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly visit.
• Ensure team delivers on guest experience commitments and operations.
• Observe and provide feedback, coaching team members.
• Review store metrics to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Lead a team of Guest Advocates and Front of Store Attendants.
• Support drive-up and pickup orders and digital guests.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and cash handling.
• Assist with training and development conversations.
• Address guest concerns and de-escalate when needed.
