Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Front End Supervisor to oversee guest service at the checkout area. The role ensures the fastest and most pleasant checkout experience by consistently applying Guest Service Standards and Policies.

You will supervise front end hosts, manage traffic flow, assist with scheduling, and train cashiers to call on additional hosts as needed. The position emphasizes maintaining a clean, professional front end and proactive problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain front end Guest Service Standards and Policies.
• Ensure No Noticeable Wait Policy front end standards are met at all times.
• Manage guest traffic flow at the front end and monitor productivity.
• Coordinate with Store Manager to optimize staffing per labor guidelines.
• Train cashiers to call additional hosts as needed.
• Handle guest requests, refunds, overrides, and approvals promptly and professionally.
• Keep front end clean, neat, and free of clutter; parking lot tidy.
• Be a positive role model in speech, manner, dress, hygiene and integrity.
• Block unused check lanes when not in use.
• Monitor and enforce front end policies related to Asset Protection.
• Provide training and direction to hosts not meeting standards.
• Communicate issues to guest service manager and provide on-the-job feedback.
• Process guest orders and perform as cashier or guest service clerk as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
