Job summary

Five Below in the United States is seeking a capable store leader to manage daily operations, train crew, and ensure a WOW customer experience across the sales floor. This role emphasizes guest service, stock organization, and team development in a fast-paced retail setting.

As Manager on Duty and part of the store leadership team, you will open/close, secure cash, supervise staff, and drive sales while controlling expenses through merchandising and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows the customer through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed effectively.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms, and ensures daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and manages expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
