Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check-in/out, and process payments in line with company guidelines. The role emphasizes delivering a top-notch guest experience and maintaining front desk operations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include handling reservations, payments, and departures, promoting ESA services, and driving guest satisfaction while following brand standards across common areas and breakfast set-up.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests.
• Assists and responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Empowers to resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process; maintain ESA's service culture with respect and kindness.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures per company guidelines.
• Handle collection efforts of in-house balances; maintain cash, credit card and city ledger accounts at the property.
• Set up, maintain, and takedown breakfast display in a timely manner.
• Keep front desk, lobby, and guest areas organized and clean per standards.
• Sell the value of ESA to inquiries and convert them into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect relevant guest information, probe for sales leads, identify opportunities.
• Periodically tour the property to ensure brand standards are met.
• Assist and provide reasonable accommodations to guest requests when possible.
• Adhere to policies including key control and prompt reporting of safety issues.
