Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, answer phones, and collect payments in line with company policies. You will support front desk operations, ensure accuracy of daily paperwork, and uphold safety and security standards across the property.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent guest experiences, promoting ESA services, and resolving routine guest requests while maintaining a clean, organized lobby and front desk area.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English with guests and staff.
• Experience using a property management system.
• Understand safety rules and procedures.
• Strong mathematical ability for payments.
• Ability to complete routine reports.
• Good judgment and problem-solving.
• Able to work with shifting schedules and front desk tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check-in/check-out and collect payment.
• Manage reservations and room charges in accordance with guidelines.
• Handle in-house balances and cash/credit card accounts.
• Maintain breakfast display and front desk area.
• Promote ESA and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Maintain property and assist with housekeeping cross-training.
• Follow safety and security policies.
• Provide accommodations for guest requests when possible.
