Job summary

Hyatt Place Lexington is seeking a Guest Service Representative to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and provide information about local attractions. This on-site role emphasizes hospitality, multitasking, and professional communication in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The GSR will coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure room readiness, handle payments, and support breakfast service while upholding safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Complete check-in, check-out, and reservation processes accurately.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests with empathy and urgency.
• Process payments, verify identification, and maintain records.
• Monitor lobby and public areas for cleanliness and welcome.
• Assist with breakfast area and light food prep as applicable.
• Support market sales and beverage service for guests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Follow safety, security, and brand standards.
