Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, answer phones, and collect payments in accordance with company guidelines. The role includes completing front office paperwork and upholding safety and security standards.

The GSR will promote ESA’s service culture, respond to guest requests with follow-through, assist with breakfast setup, and keep the lobby and back desk organized while seeking opportunities to convert

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in English and ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Experience with front desk operations and cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with requests and inquiries, ensuring follow-through.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain front desk area and oversee breakfast setup and lobby cleanliness.
• Promote ESA service culture and resolve guest issues respectfully.
• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and city ledger balances.
