Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to warmly welcome guests, answer phones, process check-ins/outs, and collect payments per company guidelines. You’ll handle reservations, maintain front desk areas, and help ensure a clean, organized lobby and public spaces.

You will assist with breakfast setup, support guest requests, and uphold ESA service standards while maintaining safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient operation of the property management system (PMS).
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payment per guidelines.
• Process reservations and departures in accordance with procedures.
• Handle cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts.
• Maintain front desk area and lobby cleanliness per standards.
• Sell ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Gather guest information and identify sales opportunities.
• Provide accommodations to guest requests when possible.
• Report safety and security issues promptly.
