Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Buford, GA. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, payments, and inquiries while maintaining a welcoming environment.

You will manage reservations, assist with guest requests, and collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. Strong communication, multitasking and basic accounting are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Strong guest service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Proficiency with computers, calculators, phones, and office equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and Check-In: Welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner and assist with check-in.
• Check-Out and Payment Processing: Handle checkout, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Phone and Email Communication: Answer calls, direct inquiries, respond promptly.
• Reservation Management: Manage reservations, cancellations, and data entry.
• Guest Services: Address requests and provide directions and local recommendations.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage mail, logs, files, and front desk organization.
• Security and Access Control: Monitor access and issue visitor badges as needed.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash and reconcile at shift end.
• Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously across departments.
• Collaboration: Work with housekeeping, maintenance and management.
• Emergency Response: Follow procedures for emergencies.
