TPG Hotels & Resorts in Augusta, GA is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑in/check‑out, payments, and inquiries. You will coordinate with departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and resolve issues promptly.

The ideal candidate will showcase strong communication, basic accounting, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment. Proficiency with computers and reservation systems is required, and a customer‑oriented

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Strong guest service orientation.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Proficiency in operating a computer, calculator, phone and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in guests, verify reservations, and provide information about facilities, services, amenities and policies.
• Handle check-out procedures, process payments, issue invoices or receipts, and resolve payment-related queries.
• Answer incoming phone calls, direct to appropriate department, and respond to emails and inquiries.
• Manage room or service reservations, cancellations and modifications; maintain up-to-date reservation system.
• Assist guests with requests such as room changes, amenities, directions and local recommendations; address complaints promptly.
• Perform administrative duties, manage mail/packages, maintain visitor log, organize files, keep front desk organized.
• Monitor access, issue visitor badges, and follow security protocols; collaborate with security personnel.
• Handle cash transactions, reconcile cash drawer at end of shift.
• Manage multiple tasks, assist guests, answer calls and complete inquiries.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Follow emergency procedures and provide assistance as needed.
