Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) invites qualified applicants for a front desk position at NHG properties. You will welcome guests, process registrations, verify eligibility, and provide information about lodging, amenities and local attractions.

Qualifications

• One year of general office clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.
• Study completed in a college or junior college may substitute for experience at half an academic year for 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Processes guest check-ins/check-outs and verifies patron eligibility.
• Assigns rooms, issues keys, and manages reservations.
• Uses PMS to create/modify/confirm/cancel reservations and maintains guest records.
• Responds to guest requests and complaints, and coordinates with management for complex cases.
• Operates multi-line telephone systems and coordinates guest requests including wake-up calls.
• Keeps front desk area clean, organized and secure; maintains Lost and Found records.
