Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) Mayport is seeking a front desk associate for NHG properties. You will greet guests, assist with lodging options, manage check-ins/check-outs and handle reservations using the PMS system, ensuring accurate records and smooth guest experiences.

Responsibilities include addressing routine guest requests, processing payments, and coordinating with management on more complex issues. The role supports safe, welcoming lodging operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• One year of general office clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.
• Education may be substituted with college study: 1/2 academic year of study for 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional, courteous guest service; welcomes guests, responds to inquiries and provides information regarding lodging accommodations, amenities and local attractions.
• Processes guest check-ins/check-outs, verifies eligibility, assigns rooms, issues keys, manages reservations and collects payments.
• Uses PMS to create/modify/confirm/cancel reservations; maintains guest records and accounts; issues CNA and offers alternative lodging when needed.
• Assists management with group reservations and commitment agreements per brand standards.
• Responds to guest requests and complaints, resolves routine issues and refers complex matters to management.
