Job summary

Sugar Land Marriott is seeking a friendly front desk agent to warmly greet guests, check them in and out, and assist with pre-registration and reservations as needed.

You will post charges accurately, manage daily transactions, handle cash and card payments, and maintain knowledge of rates, discounts, and relocation procedures. This is a full-time in-office role in Sugar Land, TX, with a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in and out promptly and professionally.
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
• Post all charges accurately and know how/where to enter them in the system.
• Maintain working knowledge of Front Office systems and daily transactions.
• Manage cash handling, including cash, checks, and credit card payments.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates, discounts, and how to handle each.
• Take same-day reservations and follow cancellation/relocation procedures.
