Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is hiring a Front Desk Agent to provide warm, proactive guest service at the lobby and front desk. You will handle check-ins/outs, answer inquiries, and help guests with local tips and requests to ensure a smooth stay.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma is required; hospitality experience is valued.

Qualifications

• One year of front desk or guest service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and kick off a memorable experience.
• Acknowledge guests and rewards program members in person or by phone.
• Assist with bookings, upsell opportunities, and explain stay enhancements.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in/out, manage room keys and safety deposit boxes.
