Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Providence, RI. This role is the first point of contact for guests and clients, responsible for delivering excellent service while handling check-in/check-out, reservations, and inquiries with professionalism.

You will support cash handling, payments, and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver friendly, professional guest service.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with basic administrative and POS tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in/check-out, verify reservations and explain hotel services.
• Process payments, issue invoices, and reconcile cash as needed.
• Answer phones and emails, direct inquiries, and provide timely information.
• Manage room/service reservations, cancellations, and changes.
• Assist guests with requests and local recommendations; resolve complaints.
• Handle administrative duties such as mail, logs, and filing.
• Monitor access and issue visitor passes, coordinate with security.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth operations.
