Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent in the New Haven area to warmly welcome guests and handle registration efficiently. You will input guest information, manage room charges, process payments, and coordinate with hotel departments to ensure a seamless stay.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.

• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests immediately with a friendly and genuine welcome.
• Input and retrieve information from the computer system during registration, confirming guests and room rate details.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; handle cash and balance house accounts.
• Post charges to guest rooms and process payments using the computer.
• Answer the telephone promptly and relay messages to guests and staff.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering and Food & Beverage to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and assist with any compensation if needed.
• Remain calm during busy periods and assist colleagues to maintain service quality.
