Job summary

Hyatt Place Houston / Downtown seeks a friendly Front Desk Agent to manage guest arrivals, check-in/out, and front-of-house operations while delivering attentive service in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will assist guests with reservations and local information, handle payments via POS, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, and uphold brand standards.

Evening and weekend availability is preferred to support guest needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide efficient check-in and check-out services.
Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest inquiries.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with brand standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gallery, lobby, and dining areas.
Process payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate records.
Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.
Support housekeeping and maintenance coordination as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and brand policies.
