Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

• Must multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance.
• Follow Highgate Hotel Standards and procedures.
• Demonstrate initiative and guest-centric service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during check-in and checkout.
• Answer inquiries regarding restaurants, transportation and entertainment.
• Follow cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of rates, packages and promotions.
• Be familiar with in-house groups and dates.
• Gather information for reservations and quote rates.
• Operate the Front Desk computer system efficiently.
• Complete shift checklist and related reports on time.
• Balance paperwork at shift close per hotel standards.
• Promote guest programs and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
