Job summary

Extended Stay America in Wichita, KS is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check-in/out, and manage payments while upholding safety and security procedures. You will also handle front desk paperwork and maintain a clean, welcoming lobby and common areas.

The role requires excellent English communication, experience with a property management system, and a customer-first service approach.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology. Requires the ability to work through all shift reports and perform the audit function when necessary.
• Understand and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payment according to company guidelines.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures.
• Handle collections of in-house balances and maintain cash, credit card and city ledger accounts.
• Set up, maintain, and takedown breakfast display in a timely manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean area behind the front desk and in guest areas.
