Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Calculator skills for moderately complex calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Adequate hearing and vision to observe emergency signs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and register them, providing prompt and courteous service and ensuring satisfaction.
• Input and retrieve guest information in the computer system and assign rooms accordingly.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; manage payments and balance house bank.
• Answer telephone calls with clear English and relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve guest issues with supervisor guidance when needed.
• Address guest complaints with research and effective solutions.
