Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly greet guests, complete registrations, and ensure an exceptional stay. You will manage payments, balance accounts, and provide information on local attractions while maintaining high service standards.

This role requires professional English communication, basic math, and accurate data entry into a moderately complex computer system. Opportunities exist to assist other front desk staff and support hotel operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.
• Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong calculator skills for moderately complex math calculations.
• Ability to deal with internal and external customers with patience and diplomacy.
• Clear English communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to input information into a moderately complex computer system.
• Adequate hearing/vision to observe emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and register them promptly.
• Input guest information and assign rooms based on guest needs.
• Process payments and balance house transactions.
• Answer phone calls in English and relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve issues as needed.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve problems with escalation when necessary.
• Follow all hotel policies, safety, and security procedures.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance and assist other front desk staff.
