Job summary

Brandt Hospitality Group is seeking a Guest Service Representative to greet guests and manage check-in/check-out, front desk operations, and overall guest interactions. You will strive to exceed standards and take pride in the lobby and surrounding areas.

The role includes booking reservations, registering guests, processing payments, promoting the loyalty program, and assisting guests with local information and hotel facilities. A friendly, personable demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Knowledge of front desk operations and procedures, guest services and hotel services.
• Proficiently speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office and familiarity with hotel brand systems.
• Capable of handling cash with accuracy and using a computerized cash register.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a personable way on arrival.
• Book hotel reservations.
• Register guests and verify reservations and payment details.
• Answer and route calls; take messages accurately.
• Promote loyalty program and recognize members.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and kindly.
• Assist with resolving guest complaints as needed.
• Maintain cash drawer during shift and record transactions.
• Keep records of registrations, reservations, and property walks.
• Handle market and retail transactions for guests.
• Provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
