Job summary

Extended Stay America in Scottsdale seeks a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payments following company guidelines. The role includes front desk paperwork and ensuring safety and security standards are observed.

You will process reservations, manage guest information, and strive to upsell rooms while maintaining a clean, organized lobby and front desk area in line with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology, including shift reports and audits.
• Understand and comply with safety and operating documents.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Handle basic arithmetic for transactions and records.
• Exercise good judgment and resolve guest-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest experience.
• Assist and respond to guest requests with follow-through.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process with respect and kindness.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain cash and city ledger accounts and manage in-house balances.
• Set up, maintain, and takedown breakfast displays as needed.
