Job summary

The role requires greeting guests, answering questions about services, handling reservations and packages, operating the front desk system, and maintaining a welcoming, professional appearance. You will work with a team to ensure smooth front desk operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk in line with Highgate Hotel standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours of operation.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork according to hotel standards.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Be familiar with in-house groups, rates, promotions and restrictions.
