Job summary

Valor Hospitality in Memphis seeks a Front Desk Clerk to welcome guests, check them in/out, and assign rooms with accurate rates. You will pre-register bookings and upsell services while ensuring payments are processed accurately and securely.

You will coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready and guide guests with local attractions, while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest registration and check-ins/check-outs.
• Verify guest information, rates, and market segment against records.
• Pre-register, block reservations and manage same-day and future bookings.
• Process payments and balance cash at shift end.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness.
• Provide information on hotel services, local attractions and directions.
