Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Dayton, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will assist the Store Manager, supervise team members on 1st–3rd shifts, and ensure safe, efficient service during a 37–40 hour work week.

The role includes cash handling, POS/gas operations, stocking, and maintaining store conditions per company policy. Prior supervision and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate POS and gas console.
• Ability to follow safety and store policies.
• Ability to rotate stock and check dates.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and handle cold temperatures.
• Must be legally allowed to perform alcohol and tobacco sales where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hi Five Guest Experience and greet Guests warmly.
• Prepare shakes, cones, sundaes, and other dipside items.
• Operate POS and gas console accurately and securely.
• Maintain stocked shelves, coolers, and display cases.
• Monitor store safety, cash controls, and theft prevention.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and reporting.
