Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Dayton, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise daily operations, deliver The Hi Five Guest Experience, and ensure compliant, safe service during assigned shifts. You will assist customers, oversee cash handling and stock levels, and support management with reporting and safety procedures.

Key duties include operating the POS and gas console, stocking and presenting merchandise, and maintaining clean, safe store conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate POS, gas console and basic store equipment.
• Ability to count, handle money and make change accurately.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and stock shelves.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience, greet Guests warmly and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage ice cream/yogurt offerings.
• Operate POS and gas console, process transactions and handle cash.
• Stock shelves, maintain dips, coffee pots and ice dispensers.
• Maintain store safety, monitors, and cash drop procedures.
• Keep store and equipment clean, and monitor temperatures.
• Complete time records and Help with reporting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Management
