Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to support store operations and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. This full-time role handles customer service, cash handling, and daily duties on 1st–3rd shifts.

You will supervise team members, ensure product freshness, manage POS and gas transactions, and maintain store safety and cleanliness while complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle payments and make change.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 to -33 degrees for short periods and lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure they leave satisfied and ready to return.
• Prepare DipSide items: shakes, cups, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS and gas console; accurately register transactions and handle various payment forms.
• Stock shelves, maintain fresh dip cabinet, and ensure proper rotation and dated checks.
• Maintain store security and follow tobacco/alcohol/robbery prevention procedures.
• Keep the store clean, monitor equipment temperatures, and complete time records and reports.
