Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Ohio is seeking a Shift Leader to help deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience, supervise team members on 1st–3rd shifts, and ensure safe, efficient store operations under the Store Manager.

This full-time position (37–40 hours weekly) requires strong English communication, the ability to manage POS and gas console transactions, cash handling, stocking, and adherence to all laws, policies, and safety standards. Pay ranges from $13.50 to $15.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Ability to operate Point of Sale and gas console systems accurately.
• Ability to handle cash, coins, checks, and card transactions and give correct change.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience, greet Guests warmly and ensure the store is ready for Guests.
• Assist with DipSide items, ice cream/yogurt products, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS and gas console, register transactions, process payments, coupons and food stamps.
• Stock shelves, keep dip cabinet and freezers presentable, rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain security and monitor for shop-lifting; follow tobacco/alcohol management procedures.
• Keep the store clean, monitor temperatures of equipment and refrigeration.
• Accurately complete time records and other required documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
