Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, uphold the Hi Five Guest Experience, and ensure safe service during the shift. The role includes guest engagement, product preparation, and cash handling.

You will manage DipSide items, stock, and store maintenance while complying with alcohol/tobacco sale laws and company policies. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Excellent guest service orientation and ability to follow the five phases of The Hi Five Guest Experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure the store is ready for Guests at all times.
• Prepare DipSide items and related scoops, cups, cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and gas console accurately, handling transactions and payments.
• Stock shelves, keep dip cabinets, coffee pots and ice dispensers full and presentable.
• Maintain security by monitoring guests and managing cash drops per procedures.
• Keep store and equipment clean; monitor temperatures of refrigeration and store areas.
• Accurately complete time records and the Customer First Document.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers; read and understand operating instructions.
