Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Mason, OH is seeking a Shift Leader for a full-time position (37-40 hours/week). You will supervise during shifts, ensure the Hi Five Guest Experience, and manage cash/transactions at the POS and gas console.

The role requires compliance with liquor and tobacco sales laws and company policies. Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing DipSide items, stocking merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting management with shift operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment and to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, recognize denominations and make change.
• Ability to stand and move merchandise, endure low/high temperatures as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience and greet guests warmly.
• Prepare shakes, malts, ice cream products, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and gas console, process transactions, cash handling and deposits.
• Stock shelves, dairy cases, coffee pots and ensure product rotation.
