Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Loveland, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure an outstanding guest experience across all shifts. You will lead team members, enforce safety and policy compliance, and manage cash handling and store procedures during your shift.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to operate POS and gas consoles, and attention to accurate record-keeping. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd; hours weekly range 37–40.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, and make change.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure satisfaction to encourage return visits.
• DipSide Guest Services: Prepare shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console; accurately register transactions and handle cash.
• Stocking Merchandise: keep shelves and freezers filled and presentable, rotate stock and check dates.
• Security: monitor store to minimize shrink and manage cash drops; follow Tobacco/Alcohol policies during shifts.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean and safe; ensure equipment temperatures are proper.
