Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Columbus, OH seeks a Shift Leader to deliver outstanding guest service and oversee on‑duty staff. You will ensure safe, efficient shift operations, supervise transactions including alcohol/tobacco sales, and maintain clean, organized store conditions.

The role requires reliable communication and adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate will support a 37–40 hour week, work 1st–3rd shifts, and model friendly, ethical service.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Ability to handle transactions and make change accurately.
• Must be able to lift and move items as described in the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience to every Guest.
• Prepare DipSide items and serve shakes, sundaes, and related products.
• Operate POS and gas console accurately and securely.
• Keep shelves, freezers, and dip cabinet stocked and presentable.
• Maintain cash control and follow drop procedures.
• Ensure store maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
• Record time and complete required documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
