Job summary

Omni Hotels is seeking a dedicated Server to provide warm, personalized service in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment. You will greet guests, learn menu details, and upsell offerings while maintaining impeccable station setup and beverage knowledge.

Proficiency with MICROS and teamwork with the culinary staff are essential to ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role requires 1 year of serving experience, availability on weekends/holidays, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year serving experience in high-volume casual environment or upscale hotel restaurant outlet.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Maintain professional appearance, attitude and performance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and anticipate needs; respond to inquiries.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests following steps of service.
• Maintain familiarity with menus and beverage offerings including wine service.
• Complete station setup and side-work.
• Polish water glassware on assigned station.
• Take orders and upsell when possible.
• Use MICROS systems to send orders and process payments.
• Coordinate with culinary team on meal requirements and dietary needs.
• Alert manager to guest concerns and resolve issues.
• Assist in seating guests and answering phones; cross-train as needed.
