Job summary

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa is seeking a friendly, motivated server to greet guests, take orders, and provide exceptional service in a high-volume setting. You will handle beverages, upsell wines and cocktails, and coordinate with the kitchen to meet guest needs.

Responsibilities include cash handling, MICROS transactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area. Shifts include weekends and holidays; strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year serving experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TIPS or obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits and beer; experience selling cocktails.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to input information into MICROS accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders and offer menu and beverage suggestions.
• Communicate dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
• Record transactions in MICROS and adhere to cash handling standards.
• Ensure tables are set and service areas are clean throughout shifts.
• Provide exceptional service and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Maintain professionalism during busy periods and weekends/holidays.
