Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a friendly Server to create a memorable dining experience. You will greet Guests, explain menu items, and customize service to meet expectations while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.

You will take orders, ring them into the POS, upsell beverages and entrees, verify ages for alcohol, and collaborate with the team to keep service smooth during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver plates and clear tables.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to hear well in loud environments.
• Must be able to operate POS system and handle payments.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile, build rapport and ensure a quality dining experience.
• Identify Guest needs and customize the service to meet expectations.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders from Guests.
• Ensure expedient service of food and beverages.
• Check on Guests regularly and provide attentive service.
• Learns TGIF menu and beverages, and upsells appropriately.
• Verify age for alcohol service when necessary.
• Ring orders accurately into POS while engaging Guests.
• Promote current promotions during service.
