Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a Server who brings a passion for guest service and a strong knowledge of the menu. You will proactively customize dining experiences, upsell items, and ensure timely service while maintaining standards of hospitality.

As a team member, you will greet guests, take orders, ring them into the POS, and assist guests with accessibility needs. A focus on guest satisfaction and quality service is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver plates and food and clear tables
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to hear well in loud environments
• Must be neatly dressed in uniform at all times
• Must be able to operate POS system and process payments correctly
• Must be able to handle difficult guests calmly and involve a manager when needed
• Must be able to read menus to assist guests with accessibility needs
• Must be able to stand and walk for the full shift

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and build rapport to ensure a positive dining experience
• Identify guest needs from cues and customize service accordingly
• Take food and beverage orders promptly and accurately
• Ensure timely service of courses and drinks
• Check in with guests frequently and provide attentive service
• Learn and upsell TGIF menu and beverages
• Identify and age-check guests ordering alcohol
• Accurately ring orders into POS while engaging guests
