Job summary

TGI Fridays - 4208 is seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Server to create an inviting dining experience for Guests in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages with accuracy and enthusiasm.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask during peak periods, and adherence to franchise standards. Training is provided to learn the Fridays menu and promotional features.

Qualifications

• Deliver plates, clear tables and maintain a clean dining area.
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Hear well in loud environments.
• Dress neatly in company uniform.
• Operate POS system and process payments accurately.
• Calmly respond to upset Guests and involve a Manager when needed.
• Read and write notes for hearing-impaired Guests.
• Read menus for sight-impaired Guests.
• Verbalize menu items clearly when taking orders.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Reach, bend, stoop and wipe counters/tables.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile, builds rapport, and ensures an enjoyable dining experience.
• Looks for cues to customize the service to guest expectations.
• Promptly and accurately takes food and beverage orders.
• Ensures expedient service of food and beverages to the Guest.
• Frequently checks on Guests and provides attentive service.
• Learn TGIF menu and beverages, and upsell items.
• ID guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 or younger.
• Follow Fridays Service Style Standards.
• Accurately rings all orders into the POS system while interacting with Guests.
• Practices conversational ordering by mentioning current promotions.
