Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. You will greet Guests, take orders, and ensure timely service while providing an enjoyable experience with upsells and menu knowledge.

Ideal candidates communicate well, work cleanly, and can maintain composure in a busy setting; prior POS experience is beneficial. Able to stand long shifts and lift items as needed.

Qualifications

• Deliver plates and food and clear tables
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must hear well amidst loud background noise
• Neat, groomed, in uniform
• Operate POS system and handle payments accurately
• Read and write notes for hearing-impaired Guests
• Read menus to sight-impaired Guests
• Speak clearly when taking orders

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile and builds rapport for an enjoyable dining experience
• Identifies Guest preferences and customizes service accordingly
• Takes food and beverage requests promptly and accurately
• Ensures timely service of food and drinks to Guests
• Regularly checks on Guests and offers silent service when appropriate
• Learn TGIF menu and beverages; upsell items
• Ring orders accurately into the POS system while engaging Guests
