Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' managerial experience preferred, preferably in the food service industry.
• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Ensures menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, sanitary manner.
• Performs or assists all functions for all positions in the restaurant when needed.
• Maintains productivity and service standards with trained, productive staff.
• Manages facility and equipment maintenance, energy conservation, and safety compliance.
• Oversees inventory levels and proper ordering procedures.
• Conducts staffing, training, and performance reviews for dining room personnel.
• Ensures accurate financial data: payroll, cash, receipts, and operating expenses.
