Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Guest Experience Concierge to ensure excellent service for patients, visitors and staff at entrances. You will assist visitors in locating patients, communicate with staff about visits, and escort visitors to locations across the campus.

This role supports a safe, welcoming environment and uses de-escalation techniques as needed. 0.7 FTE with evening shifts; benefits include medical/dental, retirement match, and more.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, patient care, or similar setting.
• Ability to read, write and understand English clearly.
• Experience handling stressful situations with composure.

Responsibilities

• Assist visitors in locating patients within Regions Hospital.

Regions Hospital is seeking a Guest Experience Concierge to join our team! Our Guest Experience Concierge will ensure that excellent customer service will be provided consistently to all patients, guests and staff that enter our facility. This role supports a safe and secure environment of the patients, visitors, and staff of Regions Hospital at our various entrances. Guest Experience Concierge provides a variety of services ranging from assisting visitors in locating patients, communicating with hospital staff regarding visits, escorting visitors to various locations within the hospital and implementing de-escalation strategies as needed.

Work schedule:

FTE: .7 (28 hrs. weekly), Evening Shift

Required Qualifications:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: 2 years of experience in a customer service, patient care, guest service mental health patient care setting or position using de-escalation strategies.
• Must be able to speak English and be easily understood, read, write English and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
• Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a stressful environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Post-secondary education in Sociology, Social Work or related field.
• One year of experience working in mental health, social work or security.
