Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Guest Experience Concierge to join our team. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff while supporting a safe environment across entrances.

Responsibilities include guiding visitors, coordinating with staff, and escorting guests within the facility. The position is a .7 FTE (28 hours per week) with an evening shift, emphasizing compassionate interaction and de-escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a customer service, patient care, guest service or related setting.
• Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak) and follow instructions clearly.
• Ability to perform well in a high-stress environment with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist visitors in locating patients and navigating the facility.
• Communicate with hospital staff regarding visits and visitor information.
• Escort visitors to locations within the hospital and ensure safety.
• Implement de-escalation strategies as needed.

Regions Hospital is seeking a Guest Experience Concierge to join our team!

Our Guest Experience Concierge will ensure that excellent customer service will be provided consistently to all patients, guests and staff that enter our facility. This role supports a safe and secure environment of the patients, visitors, and staff of Regions Hospital at our various entrances. Guest Experience Concierge provides a variety of services ranging from assisting visitors in locating patients, communicating with hospital staff regarding visits, escorting visitors to various locations within the hospital and implementing de-escalation strategies as needed.

Work schedule:

FTE: .7 (28 hrs. weekly), Evening Shift

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: 2 years of experience in a customer service, patient care, guest service mental health patient care setting or position using de-escalation strategies.

• Must be able to speak English and be easily understood, read, write English and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
• Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a stressful environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• Post-secondary education in Sociology, Social Work or related field.
• One year of experience working in mental health, social work or security.
