Job summary

Port Discovery Children's Museum is seeking a full-time Museum Sales Associate to connect families, schools, and visitors with our programs. You will assist with reservations, payments, and guest experiences in a fast-paced setting at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

This role supports Group Sales, Memberships, Box Office, Birthday Parties, and Overnights, with cross-training across Sales functions and potential reassignment based on needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in sales, customer service, admissions, hospitality, or related fields.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable handling payments and using CRM, ticketing or POS systems.
• Willing to work collaboratively and adapt to changing departmental needs; must be 18+ and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Reservations & sales support across groups, memberships, and events.
• Box Office coverage, cash handling, and guest check-in.
• Maintain accurate records in the museum CRM and assist with reporting and promotions.
